Event Backdrop Loan Agreement

This agreement outlines the process and expectations for UTSA faculty and staff members who elect to reserve and borrow a UTSA event backdrop (“Backdrop”) from the UTSA Office of University Communications and Marketing(“UCM”). This agreementmust be reviewed, completed and provided to and accepted by UCM to finalize a Backdrop reservation on the calendar.

I agree to:

  • Personally pick up the Backdrop from UCM and return it to UCMat the designated time above, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. I understand that if I am more than 15 minutes late, I will need to reschedule my pick-up/drop-off and may be charged a fee as a result.
  • Allow for time to inspect the quality of the Backdrop when I pick it up from UCM and again when I return it to UCM.
  • Avoid altering or adding to the Backdrop without written approval.
  • Notify UCM of any damage(s) to the loaned property.
  • Accept responsibility for any damage or loss to the Backdrop, including any costs to repair or replace the property, in whole or in part.
