REPLACEMENT FACULTY POSITION
Tenure Track Assistant/Associate Professor
The dynamic team in The Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Baldwin Wallace University is seeking a new faculty member. The Department is an innovative, vibrant and growing department that is housed within a highly supportive University. Recently over $1.8 million was spent in renovation and support of the clinical facilities. In addition over the past year the Department has been awarded over $330,000 in foundation grants to support the Speech Clinic and its mission.
We are seeking applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor faculty position in Speech-Language Pathology. Our well-established undergraduate program and new graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology are based on both evidence-based education and evidence-based practice. We are committed to creating a supportive and challenging academic experience with intentional connections between classroom and clinical learning. Successful applicants will possess an earned doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology or related discipline (we will consider ABD), Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-SLP) at time of interview, eligibility for state licensure in Ohio, and previous teaching and clinical supervision experience. Responsibilities include graduate and undergraduate teaching, academic advising, clinical education, research in area of interest, and college and community service. Open to expertise in any adult or pediatric areas.
