Prospective trainers will be expected to complete the requirements indicated below:
Complete MI I review with the T4T group (1 day). Objective: Refresh skills and acquaint to curriculum.
Complete MI II review with the T4T group (1 day). Objective: Refresh skills and acquaint to curriculum.
Complete the T4T segment for MI I and MI II (2 days each). Objective: Prepare to train MI I and MI II curricula
Submit two (2) audio tapes for review and receive coaching/feedback from trainers.
The MI T4T trainings will be held at the DOC office in St. Cloud (300 E. St. Germain, St. Cloud, MN 56304).
MI I T4T is scheduled to occur Monday-Wednesday, January 25-27, 2016
MI II T4T is scheduled to occur Monday-Wednesday, February 22-24, 2016.
Trainers will be expected to train a minimum of two MI trainings (level I and II) in the next two years. Four refresher/booster trainings may be considered for one of the required full trainings.
New trainers who have not previously completed Foundation Skills Training for Facilitators will be required to complete this two-day class which is expected to be offered in March, 2016.

2) A letter of support from your supervisor, and
3) A tape of a MI client interview (for MITI coding)
Applications are due by December 28, 2015. Applicants will be notified as to whether they were selected or not by January 6, 2016. Please mark your calendar now for the six January and February dates to ensure your availability if selected.
