Conditions of Entry

This event is to encourage players belonging to Clubs affiliated to the Worthing & District League, and Bognor & Chichester Leagues to compete in a doubles tournament at which senior county players are excluded.

1.  Entries will not be accepted without payment.

2.  Players who have played for senior county teams this or last season are excluded. Masters county players are eligible.

3.  The Referee reserves the right not to hold an event if insufficient entries are received and/or to limit numbers.

4.  If an event is oversubscribed the date of entry received will be taken into account.

5.  You will be notified at the latest by the Monday prior to the event if your entry has not been accepted due to over subscription or insufficient entries.

6.  All events will be played in groups with winners going through to a knockout stage. If there is only one group, no knockout stage will be played.

7.  Unless stated, all events shall be played using Rally Points Scoring and will be one game to 21 points with no setting, unless otherwise stated on the day. The scoring system may be changed at the Referees discretion.

8.  Entries must be submitted by the closing date to the secretary listed.

9.  The order of play and start times may be changed at the discretion of the tournament Referee. Their decision in all matters is final.

10.  Woman’s and Men’s doubles will start at 10.00am

11.  All players to wear acceptable badminton sports clothing.

12.  Competitors enter the tournament at their own risk. The Organisers, Tournament Secretary, Referee, Worthing & District Badminton Association cannot be held responsible for any injury received during the tournament or for any loss or damage to personal belongs
