Dear Sir/Madam,
ONLINE SUBMISSION OF LETTER TO THE PRIME MINISTER
Further to our Circular Letter No.35:2016 dated May 01, 2016 on the subject matter, we have been receiving large number of telephone calls from retiree members who are not conversant with E-mail system and seeking help/clarifications as to how to go about for online registration of representations to the Prime Minister of India.
All our Functionaries are requested to be guided by the following and extend necessary help to such retiree members who are not tech-savvy so that more number of such representations reach the Prime Minister’s Office.
A retiree need not necessarily send the representation as a PDF attachment. 'Copy & Paste' of the representation can also be made in the specific space provided for the purpose on the PMO's web site. As the representation is to be transmitted through digital mode, signature of the members is not required.
As such, retirees may adopt the following step-by-step procedure for 'on line'registration of the representations:
Type name, place, date and name of the Bank, etc. of the member in the representation
Save the representation in the computer
Open the internet connection
Type http://pmindia.gov.in/en/

Please confirm from the member about receipt of the acknowledgment number and keep a record of it
If an error appears in the computer screen and the representation is not registered, please press “re-set” column and repeat the above process till you register the representation successfully.
Members having E-Mail Id can do this from their own computers. Or else Office Bearers / CC Members / Activists of our Federation/Affiliates stationed at different locations are requested to undertake this task with a view to helping their retired colleagues. This can be done from anybody's computer. However, the details like names, addresses, cell phone numbers, E-mail Ids., etc. to be mentioned in the columns on the PMO's web site should be invariably of the retiree members. (Our Affiliates are requested to make available such details in soft copies by E-mail to our Functionaries in different locations coming under their jurisdiction.) The message of the acknowledgement, after successful uploading of the representation, will go to E-Mail Ids and Cell Numbers of the concerned retiree members.
All our Functionaries in each centre should maintain record of acknowledgements/registration numbers so received by the members from the PMO's officeand the same may kindly becommunicated to us by E-mail collectively in the end of May 2016. We, in turn, have to convey those particulars to the Head Quarters of AIBRF at Indore.
All our Office Bearers and Central Committee Members across the country are requested to attend to this important organisational task on priority basis and complete the same as expeditiously as possible, as On-line registration of our grievances is also part of our ongoing struggle programmes launched by our National Organisation AIBRF for realisation of our long pending demands.
For your ready reference, we furnish in the next page the text of the Representation (in Word format) to be sent to PMO online and the same may please be copied and pasted in the relevant box in the website. With Greetings,
Yours Sincerely,
(S.V.SRINIVASAN)
GENERAL SECRETARY
Encl: Draft of representation
Place: Date:
Shri Narendra Modi, The Honorable Prime Minister, Government of India, New Delhi.
Respected Sir,
I wish to mention that I am a retiree and pensioner of Canara Bank.
I bring to your kind notice that those retired before November, 2002 are paid much lower dearness allowance. Basic pension of bank pensioners has not been revised in last 21 years. Family pension payable to the spouse on death of pensioner in banking industry is less than half of those payable in RBI and the government sector. Because of this position, financial position of bank retirees in the present high inflation scenario is pathetic and miserable.
Our organisation AIBRF has been raising the above issues for last 10 years before IBA who is responsible for formulation of pension scheme. But IBA is not ready to hold discussion with the representatives of the organisation which represent more than 1,35,000 retirees under the pretext of no specific mandate from member banks.
Further I find that IBA is also not meeting its commitment given in the Record Note dated 25.05.2015 even after lapse of one year in the name of non- completion of cost study which can be easily completed in not more than one month in the present world of technology. More than 40000 retirees have left this world without getting justice.
We the retirees have lot of hopes from you Sir. Kindly issue suitable direction to the authorities for resolution bank retiree issues.
With Respectful Regards and thanking you in the meantime,
Yours Sincerely,
( )
