TEAM PREPARATION COMMITMENT
As a member of the SOAR Panama team you will be expected to commit to ALL the team preparation meetings and expectations, as well as debrief. To get the most out of your Short Term Missions experience orientation, team ministry assignment and debrief are all equally important in the process. The dates for most of these meetings are as follows.
Application Due: Feb 7, 2016
Team Meetings:TBDMost meetings on a Sunday afternoon or evenings in April, May, June. First team meeting will be March 6. All day meeting Sat May 14th.
Fundraiser BBQ at FGCC– Sunday May 15 9 am – 2 pm
Team Orientation possibly in Gretna, Manitoba July 1 – July 3. We will go as a team to Gretna and join with other teams for more team orientation with MB Mission. The team will then fly from Winnipeg to Panama on July 4. The team will return to Saskatoon on July 21 after short debrief in Panama. ( dates to be confirmed)

FINANCES: The cost of this trip will be approx. $2000 per person, depending on travel costs which we won’t know until we book the flights. You will be required to contribute $500 of these costs personally, (or more if you want). These funds cover orientation, travel, and expenses in country as well as project or ministry costs. Immunizations, passport fees and meals on travel days are personal expenses. As a team we will also raise up prayer and finances from the church and individuals. Every team member is required to help with fund raising and sending out support letters as we work together to raise the funds. Training and support will be given for this.
