On the March 29-31 in Karaganda was held the

IV International Festival of Robotics, Programming and Innovative Technologies "ROBOLAND 2018"

The largest festival in Kazakhstan, according to tradition, was perfectly organized and significantly different from previous ones.

Within the framework of the festival there were "Karaganda meetings", which included a roundtable meeting, a structured dialogue, meetings in educational organizations of the region, 48 seminars, master classes and presentations on the festival site.The guests of the festival were 34 famous specialists from Kazakhstan, Russia and Greece. Among them: the president of the All-Russian Association "Innovation in the field of 3D education" Roman Bondarenko, the director of the Moscow "Kulibin-center" Svetlana Shipovskaya, the author of books on robotics Viktor Petin, the holder of the nomination "Digital Teacher of the Year in Russia-2017" Nina Danilina, the best STEM - the teacher of Europe in 2017 MichalisOrfanakis.

At the festival was presented a unique educational and methodological manual on the development of near space "Lunar Odyssey." This is a joint educational project of the United Missile-Space Corporation, state corporation Roskosmos and LEGO Education.

The organizer of the festival was the department of education of Karaganda region. Official support to the festival was provided by the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken", JSC "National Agency for Technological Development", Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, LegoEducation, VEX Robotics and TetrixRobotics.The largest partners of the festival were the Republican Educational and Methodological Center for Further Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Oleg Deripaska's Foundation "VolnoeDelo", the International Association of Sports and Educational Robotics, the Association of 3D Education, the Kazdidac Association, the Khabar Agency, the Saryarqa TV Channel, the Republican Educational social and political newspaper "BILIMDY EL - EDUCATED COUNTRY".

For the first time, an electronic system of registration and summing-up was approved. On-line broadcast of the festival was held for two days on the website youtube.com.

The popularity of the festival has significantly increased. In competitions in 32 categories, 637 teams participated, including 619 from Kazakhstan, 16 from Russia, 1 from Kyrgyzstan, and 1 from Poland. Karagandaregionwasrepresentedby 386 teams.

The total number of participants in the competition was - 1483, the number of representatives of the teams - 214.

The winners of the team rating are: Karaganda region - the first place, Akmola region - the second place, Astana city - the third place.
