2. Description: In accordance with the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for this Community and the Design Guidelines, this application is submitted for review and approval of the following described modifications: (enclosed porch, fence, shed, etc.).

Note: Please attach a separate sheet if you need additional space.

3. All applications (other than house painting) must include the following:

a. Plat Survey (this document is part of your original closing paperwork; if you need a copy, please visit the Durham County Register of Deeds located at 200 East Main Street on the ground floor. There will be a $2.00 fee. Copies must be obtained in person.

4. All paint applications must include the paint manufacturer and the color numbers of all proposed color changes. If possible, please include a color sample.

5. Signatures: If the above information is not included, your application will be returned to you as “Incomplete”. A description of the missing material will be outlined and you will be required to submit the requested information before the application is reviewed. It is hereby understood and agreed that approval of this application by the Modifications Committee does not constitute approval as to compliance with applicable North Carolina Law or Durham, Orange or Wake County ordinances. All applicable permits must be obtained by owner and/or contractor prior to the onset of work.

6. Neighbors’ Signatures: Your neighbors have the right to comment and present views about your requested improvements. Please obtain signatures from all property owners having the common lot lines with your property, and property owners who reasonably view the improvement from their property.
