PEREKA 2013TERM OF REFERENCE

  1. This competition is open forUniversiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS)researchers.Each entryMUSTledby aLecturer(Permanent/Contract).If Postgraduate students(MasterorPhD) wish to participate, the Project Leader(First Name) MUST be their main supervisor’s name.
  1. The Research / Innovation MUST be conducted or produced in Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).
  1. The Research / Innovation must be new unlessSIGNIFICANT substantial data have been added or modifications have been added or made since it was first submitted in previous competitions.
  1. The Research / Innovation may be presented in the form of posters, commercial samples, manufactured articles, prototypes, models, plans, drawings, photos and texts.
  1. One Entry Form per Research / Innovation. Fill in a new form if more than 1 (one) Research /
Innovation. Photocopies of entry form may be used.Each entrymustbe accompanied by an ABSTRACT (ATTACHMENT 1) for the referenceof Technical Committee and Panel of Evaluator. Failure to attach the abstractwillresultin disqualification.
  1. The researcher /innovator or his / her representative is required to be at the exhibit at ALL TIMESthroughout the Exhibition. Leader or Co-Researcher (Staff Only) is COMPULSORY to be at the exhibition during Evaluation Session. Evaluation will not be carried out if researchers fail to comply.
  1. The decisions of the Panel of Evaluators are final. Any complain will not be entertained.
