Food Areas
We put up various signs around the complex and we have several different areas that we use for each activity. We have 4 different food areas that we can use so please follow the signs.
Go Karting
Please use Car Parks 1, 2 or 3 and enter into the Sports Centre by using Entrance A. We operate inside the Sports Centre and in either the Main Hall or the Sports Hall.The food area is also inside next door to the go karting area.
Wacky Science Parties
Please use Car Park 4 and enter into the Sports Centre by using Entrance B. We operate inside the Sports Centre and in either the Year 11 Common Room or the New Food Area. The food area is often within the same room but it can also be one of the other food areas.
Battlefield Live Manchester
Please use Car Parks 2 or 4 and enter the Arena via Entrance C. The food area is inside the Sports Centre and is a short walk from the battlefield live entrance.
BodyZorbing
Please use Car Parks 4 or 5 and walk up to the BodyZorbing area. The food area can be inside the Sports Centre or inside the white outer buildings that are immediately adjacent to the body zorbing area.

Directions from the North
Join the A34 southwards towards the M60. Continue down the Kingsway part of the A34 until you reach Tesco and Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre (with Cineworld). Just after the cinema at the next set of major traffic lights take the left fork (note, this is not the turning into the car park but the road after that). Then turn left again almost straight away at the next set of traffic lights and follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with our big sign listing all of our activities.
Directions from the South
Join the M56 northwards towards Manchester. Be sure to turn off at Junction 3 to stay on the M56. Depart at Junction 1 onto the A34. At the next set of major traffic lights (about ½ mile) turn right. This is just before Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre. Turn left shortly after at the next traffic lights and follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your rightYou’ll come to a right hand turn with our big sign listing all of our activities.
Directions from the West (via the M60)
Travelling on the M60 anti-clockwise towards Stockport, go past Junction 3-4 signposted towards Didsbury (you cannot exit North on Junction 3) and carry on to Junction 2, signposted Cheadle A560. Come off at Junction 2 and follow the slip road round, continuing on the dual carriageway right-hand lane to the roundabout. Take the fifth exit at the roundabout, continuing along the A560 (Stockport Road) towards Cheadle. Stay on this road through one set of traffic lights to the next set where there is a right filter (approx ¾ mile). Turn right here onto the B5059 (Manchester Road). You are in effect now doubling back on yourself and will pass over the motorway. Follow the road to the first set of traffic lights, just before Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre. Turn right at the lights and follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with our big sign listing all of our activities.
Directions from the East (via the M60)
Join the M60 clockwise (before Junction 1). As M60 Junction 3 is restricted (you cannot exit North) then leave the M60 at Junction 1 and turn right onto the B5169 (Didsbury Road). Travel on this road for some time until the road ends by reaching the A34. Turn left onto the A34, the cinema complex should then be on your left. Take the second left onto the B5095 and 200 yards later take the next left at the lights. The cinema car park should be on your left. Follow the road around, with the cinema complex car park to your left and Parrs Wood High School to your right. You’ll come to a right hand turn with our big sign listing all of our activities.
