Balasore Alloys Limited (Formally Ispat Alloys Limited):-

Balasore Alloys Limited (BAL) was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 on 31st of May 1984 as Ispat Alloys Limited. It has its registered office at Balgopalpur ,Balasore, Odisha and corporate office located at 71, Park Street, Kolkata.

One of the very few Ferro Alloys manufacturing companies in the country having captive chromite mines. The company adopted most advanced technologies into its manufacturing process to ensure quality of its products.

A modern Ferro Alloys plant capable to produce Quality and high grade Ferro Chrome. Present capacity of 95,000 MT of High Carbon Ferro Chrome. Currently extracting Chrome ore from its captive chromite ore mine covering an area of 64.46 Hector located at Sukinda Valley, Jajpur Road, Odisha by open Cast Mining method. The company is currently mining around 0.22 MTPA of Chrome Ore.
