Graduated Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa from University of Colorado, PhD in Physical Chemistry from Stanford University, 17 years industrial experience with Eastman Chemical Company, founder of two S-corporations, he is now available as an independent consultant in a variety of areas of science, new product development, creativity, practical quality, systems efficiency, value creation in business, and innovation. With 34 years industrial experience at Eastman Chemical Company, Bill is a past president of The Fiber Society, past chairman of the INDA Technical Advisory Board and TAPPI Fiber Committee, and currently serves as managing editor of the Journal of Engineered Fibers and Fabrics.
