Context for the Integrated Performance Assessment: A group of students from Spain is coming to spend three weeks in your school. Each student in your class will be a buddy for one of the Spanish students. One of the criteria for matching a Spanish student with a buddy is knowledge of technology. Your Spanish teacher needs information about your ability to use technologyInterpretive Task: Watch the Videohistoria: ¿Cómo se comunica? from Realidades 1, DVD 4, Capítulo 9B. Write all the uses of technology mentioned in the video in one of 2 columns: Yo puedo… or Yo no puedo….
Interpersonal Task: Work with a partner. Using your notes, tell him/her what you can or cannot do with technology. Listen to your partner as he/she reads his/her notes. Ask each other questions about other uses of technology that were not mentioned in the video, including how you use technology in school. Keep track of what you can and cannot do.
Presentational Task: Write a note to your Spanish teacher giving him/her a detailed description of what you can and cannot do with technology.
