H.EXAMS AND MAJOR ASSIGNMENTS

EXAMS

Four exams will be given during this course that cover a few chapters of material each and you will have the entire class periodto take them. The final exam is comprehensive and you will have the entire class periodto take it. TI 83 or 84 calculators may be used on the exams. Phones can never be used on exams.

MYMATHLAB MATH HOMEWORK AND QUIZZES

Homework and quizzes on MyMathlab( are for a grade. You may rework the homework assignments as often as you wishbefore their due date in MyMathlab. You may only rework the quizzes three times prior to final submission on their due date in MyMathlab. Please plan to take them as soon as possible so that you can retake them if needed to bring up your grade (For those wanting extra credit, this is it so please take advantage of it!). You may retake the homework for full credit after the due date until the day of the test covering that material. Thereare 22 computer labs at Alvin Community College. A slow or no Internet connection at your home is not an acceptable excuse for missing your assignments in this course. You will need to register in MyMathlab using a student access code and the MyMathlab Course ID. Follow the directions that are included with your book/MyMathlab bundle, or go to to gain access online.
