OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

What is a LivePCGivePC.org?

LivePCGivePC.org is a one-day virtual event that encourages all of Summit County, Utah to contribute to our nonprofit organizations on the same day – 11/11/11, at the same place – online. LivePCGivePC.org is modeled after Minnesota’s Give to the Max Day, and tailored to make it uniquely Park City. The campaign is coordinated by The Park City Foundation, Summit County’s community foundation, in partnership will area nonprofit organizations.

What’s the Goal?

The vision of LivePCGivePC.org is a community where every citizen contributes to our nonprofit organizations.

There are three primary goals:

·  Grow philanthropy in Summit County – bring new donors to our nonprofit organizations

·  Grow revenue for nonprofit organizations serving Summit County – create a new funding stream

·  Grow supporters – educate the community on the positive impact on their lives because of Summit County’s nonprofit organizations.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
All donations onlivepcgivepc.orgwill be made to the Razoo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization which permits donors to advise a regranting of their donations to other IRS recognized qualifying 501(c)(3) organizations such as Park City nonprofit organizations. It is Razoo Foundation’s normal practice to regrant 97.1% of its contribution to the qualifying organization as advised by the donor, retaining 2.9% for Razoo Foundation’s expenses (including credit card transaction costs).

KEY TO SUCCESS:
