Prom

Dana emailed Southern Lee about using their decorations. They are renting most of their stuff

Our Prom Date- May 19 from 7-9 pm

Mrs. Allen will book Gene Dickens

Prom will be held in the gym and dividers will be put up

Dinner will be provided for the students in the cafeteria starting at 6 pm

Parents will not be allowed to attend the dinner or prom

Tickets will be sold to students for $10 each

Snacks and punch will be served in the high school building during prom

Theme-TBD

Lunches- New juices are being sent. Menu items should now match what students are receiving

Dr. Seuss Week- Flyers are being sent home with students

Community Alternative Housing- Mrs. Allen met with them to learn more about their services

April 29th- City of Sanford 7th Annual Block Party

FLK will be the anchor.

Neighborhood will be raking, cleaning and painting around our campus

Mrs. Allen will be providing more info to staff and parents to see if they are interesting in participating

Emails- Dr. Bryan wants to remind everyone to be mindful of what you send in emails

Cell Phones- If you are supervising students, you should not have your cell phones out. If it continues to be a problem, Mrs. Allen will take cell

phones from staff members.

Staff Meeting- Monday, February 27 at 3:00 pm

Staff need to review policies for Lock Down Drills and Tornado Drills

Terry Darroch needs walkie talkie- Mrs. Allen will get one ordered.

New TAs- When will they get their bus license? The bus garage is working on trainings now.

It has been requested that afterschool be moved from the PreK classrooms to another location. There is no other place for them to go. They will continue to rotate through the PreK classrooms

Monitors for buses- Can TAs who do not have bus licenses monitor on buses? Yes they can

Employee Dress- Make sure you dress appropriate for the needs of your job

Morton’s classroom would like a ½ door for bathroom- Mrs. Allen will check with maintenance and preschool guidelines.

Computer Lab- 3 Laptops left

Can we make sure next year that 2 assistants from the same class are not on the same bus? Bus assignments for next year will be looked at to see if they can be changed.

Buses will not be called until 2:25 pm from now on. Car riders should not go to cafeteria until the first bus is called. A nurse should be in the cafeteria by 2:25 pm each day

Fever Policy

We made it as a school policy that a student has to be fever free for 24 hours before they can return to school.

We have medically fragile students that do not need to be exposed
