The meeting was called to order at 12:15 by President Walt Smith. There were 17 in attendance.

Walt felt it was time for a night meeting. He suggested February 23. More information will follow. MaryAnn distributed BeefSteak tickets to those in attendance.

Barbara commented on how easy it was to get a gift card valued at $25 from Zinburger. She was eating there Friday night. She presented the fundraiser letter to the manager and was given a $25 gift card. So, wherever you go, bring the letter and ask for a donation. Ben will be bringing the fundraiser letter and distributing it at the next Chamber of Commerce meeting. The Beefsteak is April 1 which is not that far away, start getting donations asap.

Walt introduced our guest speaker Mike Rahill from Turul Bookbindery in Lake Hopatcong. His mother is Margit Rahill - our next District Governor. He was welcomed by our singing of the "Welcome Song." The family business was started in Hungary just before World War II. The family fled Europe and wound up in Lake Hopatcong. The bindery's primary clients are law offices; government agencies; companies that need a durable, permanent

record of events. The pages must be tamper resistant and tamper proof. They also do antique book restoration. The oldest book they restored dated back to about 1599. They also restored documents prepared by Alexander Hamilton creating the city of Jersey City. All their work has to meet US Library of Congress standards. The work is hand done. In a reconstruction, some pages have to be researched so missing pages can be reconstructed. Most work now is on individual books and restoration of those books.
