RURAL HEALTH GRADUATE RESEARCH PROGRAM

CONFERENCE FUNDING GRANTS 2012 FOR HONORARY RESEARCH SUPERVSIORS

The University Department of Rural Health (UDRH) are offering ONE Rural Health conference funding grant in 2012. The grant will cover conference registration, travel and accommodation up to $2,000 per award.

This grant is designed to allow research-active honorary research supervisors to attend a national/international conference in 2012 to enhance their research progress and networking. In awarding these grants, preference will be given to supervisors who have been accepted for a conference presentation, in particular if the conference paper is peer-reviewed.

To be eligible for this conference funding grant, the applicant must be an honorary research supervisor who is currently supervising the UDRH graduate research students. The date of the conference must be within the year of application.

Awardee is required to conduct a conference report/reflection seminar at the Graduate Research Workshop series and complete relevant forms for Publication Entry System (URL: http://www.utas.edu.au/research/quick-links/publication-entry-system ) at the UTAS.

Closing date for applying for the conference funding grant is 29th October 2012.
