Please obtain your Score Card from the Professional's Shop. Report to the starter at the 1st Tee 10 minutes before your allotted time. Please note that late arrivals will be penalised in accordance with Rule of Golf 6-3.

JUBILEE OPEN COMPETITION: CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1.  The Competition is open to players possessing a bona fide competition handicap;

2.  Evidence of a CONGU COMPETITION HANDICAP held on the day of the competition must be produced to win a prize. If this requirement is not satisfied the player’s score is disqualified. M&H committee will not release any prizes until the handicaps of any and all winners have been verified as being of a CONGU Competition Handicap status. Therefore, M&H reserve the right to delay the posting of any competition results and or payment or presentation of any prizes until completely satisfied that it is in possession of all the requested information.

3.  A team will comprise of any combination;

4.  Handicap limits are Gentlemen - 24 and Ladies – 36.

5.  The current ‘competition’ playing handicap on the day of the competition will be applied.

6.  The team will play off a handicap of ‘9 tenths’ of current handicap or off the handicap limits above should their handicap be higher than those limits.

7.  The maximum allowance will be 22 for Gentlemen and 32 for Ladies.

8.  This competition will be a Better Ball MEDAL.

9.  Entry must be made on the official form or web site (one form per team please) and be accompanied by payment of the entry fee

10.  Entrants are asked to indicate in the starting time block(s) which times are either acceptable or impossible. The Club does not undertake to accept all or any entries. Those accepted will have a starting time allocated and be notified. Entries will be rejected if the only available starting time(s) are marked as impossible by the entrants. Attention is drawn to Rule of Golf 6.3 which will be strictly applied in the interests of all competitors.

In the event that accepted entrants subsequently withdraw, entry fees will not be refunded.

11.  Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club operates a SOFT SPIKES ONLY policy during 1st May – 30th September.

12.  Prizes will be awarded for the following:

a.  Highest score - Team off handicap (any combination)

b.  Additional Prizes will be available subject to the field entry

13.  Ties will be decided by count-back, with strokes allowed being counted at the appropriate holes indicated on the Men's Scorecard, in the order of holes 10-18, 13-18, 16-18, 18, 1-9, 4-9, 7-9, and 9. In the event of a tie still existing after all the count-backs are completed, prize(s) affected will be shared equally

15.  The Committee of The Radcliffe-on-Trent Golf Club reminds visitors to respect our Dress Rules.

On the course: Only smart clothing including that which is normally available from Professional shops is allowed on the course. Blue denim wear, ‘T’ shirts, trainers, tracksuits, rugby/football style shirts and cargo/combat style trousers with baggy (bulbous) side pockets are not permitted. Tailored shorts are allowed and should be worn with sports socks. Beach shorts and ‘cargo/combat’ shorts with baggy (bulbous) side pockets are not acceptable. Trousers should not be tucked into socks on the course unless covered by waterproof trousers. Caps are to be worn as designed.

In the clubhouse: Members, guests and visitors can wear smart clean casual clothing whilst in the clubhouse unless a dress code is specified for an event. Staff and officers of the club have discretion to refuse entry or service to anyone deemed to be wearing inappropriate, soiled, wet or dirty clothing. Shorts are not permitted in the dining area after 19.30.

16.  Bad weather, Dangerous conditions, Course unplayable: Under these conditions play may be suspended. If the course remains unplayable for more than one hour, play will be abandoned. If 75% of competitors have completed their round the result will stand. One hour and 75% are the recommended criteria but the Committee reserve the right to amend these after considering all factors on the day.Their decision will be final.
