Macon County Community Foundation announces scholarship availability in Macon County

The board of advisors of the Macon County Community Foundation announces the availability of the Brandon Stiwinter Memorial Scholarship, the Franklin HS Athletic Boosters Scholarship, the Guy Taylor Memorial Scholarship, the Judy Moore Memorial Scholarship, the Tom Raby Memorial Scholarship, and many other statewide scholarships, according to Regina Lupoli, board president.

Lupoli said this is a valuable opportunity for Macon County students to further their educations. “The Macon County board aims to raise awareness among area youth regarding opportunities and scholarships offered through the North Carolina Community Foundation,” she said. The Macon County Community Foundation is an affiliate of NCCF.

Scholarships are available for students meeting various eligibility requirements detailed on www.nccommunityfoundation.org, where applications also can be downloaded. Applications also may be available at the high schools. The deadline for submitting applications is posted on the NCCF website.
