Penmanship
We will be having some extra penmanship sheets to improve our neatness. Some students are holding their pencils incorrectly. If you see this at home, please redirect them. Then they will be hearing this both at school and home & hopefully they will begin to use the correct grasp. It will only make cursive that much easier in 3rd grade if we can get rid of those bad habits now! / ENGLISH
We have been working hard on sentence writing and punctuating correctly. Any extra writing practice at home is always helpful. (writing the grocery list, write a short note to mom or dad, writing letters to grandparents)
