I am strongly committed to undergraduate involvement in research. At Eastern Washington U., eight undergraduate research students have participated in research programmes in my laboratory since 1997.

Additionally, I annually supervise approximately 60 students conducting small group projects in Biology 490 (Animal Physiology). In alternate years, I supervise another 25 in Biology 270 (Biological Investigation).
