At the outset the Area Administrator circulated a copy of faxed letter that he had received at 11 a.m. from Messers Cusack McTiernan Solicitors on behalf of Mr Dermot Kealy who had made a submission on the proposed amendments to the Draft Dunshaughlin Local Area Plan. The Members agreed to deal with the matter when the submission came before them when discussing the Managers report on the amendments to the Draft Dunshaughlin Local Area Plan.

The Members agreed that the first item to be dealt with on the agenda would be the Managers Report on the submissions received on the amendments to the Draft Kilcock Local Area Plan.

Ms Wendy Bagnall A/Senior Planner then presented the Managers Report on the 4 submissions received following the public consultation process of the amendments to the Draft Local Area Plan for the Kilcock Environs.

* Submission No.5. Planning Officials advised the members that the bulk of the discussion referred to the owners of the lands. Members were also advised that they should only consider the proper planning and sustainable development of the area. On the proposal of Cllr Killian seconded by Cllr Doherty a roll call took place were Members were requested to vote on not accepting the Managers Recommendation. The result was as follows: - Cllr. Bonner – Against. Cllr. Doherty – For, Cllr Fitzgerald – For, Cllr Killian – For, Cllr Leonard –For, Cllr. McGowan – Against, Cllr Murphy – Abstain. (Motion carried)
