PROJECT COORDINATOR – BURLINGTON, ON
Purpose:
Manage and process customer orders, producing accurate BOM’s and drawing packages to issue to customers and vendors. Act as a liaison between the customers/vendors and sales to clarify order requirements. Assist with any issues that arise during ongoing customer orders or completed customer orders for warranty purposes.

Vice President of Operations
KEY Responsibilities:
- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations
- Prepare shop drawings using AutoCAD system for received orders and/or sales presentations
- Communicate with the customer to resolve outstanding issues, disputes and answer technical questions as required in a timely manner to ensure prompt invoice payment
- Produce bill of materials (BOM)
- Requisition the issuing of purchase orders to vendors in a timely manner and coordinate the delivery of outsourced product as required by our customers
- Attend coordination meetings daily to review all files, notes, drawings and information before and during any orders are released to customer and vendors
- Visit customer project location(s) for site meetings and field measurements
- Follow up daily on materials with all vendors required to complete orders to deliver and install of customer’s product (i.e. cabinets, fume hoods, countertops and specialty parts)
- Schedule freight carriers and installation crews to effectively meet the project requirements
- Communicate with both internal and external personnel including: Customers, Sales Coordinators, Designers, Scheduler, Purchasing, Production, Shipping, Architects, Installers and Contractors
- Provide backup to other Project Coordinators
- Perform other duties as required
Skills & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Architectural or Mechanical, Civil Engineering Technology or similar field
- Previous architectural experience
- High level of product knowledge
- Ability to read architectural drawings, mechanical drawings and specifications
- Skilled in CAD software including AutoCAD & Solidworks
- Intermediate math skills including the ability to convert fractions to decimals to metric
- Attention to detail is critical
- Strong project management skills
- Intermediate verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to work under pressure to meet critical deadlines
