Freeman PTSG and
Missoula Children’s Theatre
Present…
The PTSG is pleased to welcome back the Missoula Children's Theatre to Freeman the week of October 31st. Two professional actors will arrive at Freeman with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on an amazing performance of Aladdin...except the cast.All students in grades K-8 are invited to audition to be part of the cast and crew.
AUDITIONS
- Monday, October 31immediately after school in K8 Multipurpose Room (12:45-2:45 pm).
- Pre-registration required – Forms due by Friday, October 28.
- This is a group audition andno advance preparation is necessary. A smile and good listening skills are helpful!
- 50-60 students will be cast to perform and assist in the production. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play.
- Cast list will be announced at the end of the audition.
- Activity bus available to take students home at 3:00 pm. Call the Freeman Transportation Office at 291-5555 for specific information.
- Optional informational meeting will be held at the conclusion of the audition for new families or anyone with questions.
REHEARSALS
- Two sessions held daily after school during conference week (12:45-2:45 pm and 3:00-5:00 pm).
- Some students will be required to stay for the first rehearsalfrom 3:00-5:00pm on Monday. You will receive a text/ call if your child is required to stay.
- Rehearsal schedules will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition.
- M-Tue-Wed rehearsals held in K8 Multipurpose room. Th-Fri-Sat rehearsals held in High School Multipurpose room.
- A light snack will be provided daily at 2:45 pm, but actors are welcome to bring their own.
- NOTE: Not all cast members will be needed at every session, but those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and, if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role.
PERFORMANCES
- Saturday, November 5, at 1:00 and 3:30inthe Freeman High School Multipurpose Room.
- Call time for students is 9:00am on Saturday and all students are required to stay through the 2nd performance.
- Lunchwill be provided.
FAMILY AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT
- Families of students cast in the show will receive an email invitation to volunteer and/ordonate items needed during the week.
- All families are asked to participate in some way.
- Financial contributions to offset the cost of bringing the production to Freeman are welcome.
