For five decades, the Association of Fundraising Professionals has been working to advance ethical and effective fundraising and support charities around the world that provide critical services to their communities. During that time, philanthropy has made so many extraordinary contributions to the world and played a key role in improving lives in every conceivable way.
Each year, the Nebraska Chapter of AFP hosts the National Philanthropy Day lunch where we honor those companies, foundations and individuals who have played a key role in improving our own communities and state. These people set the bar for philanthropy in Nebraska and it is our pleasure to honor them.

A selection committee of AFP members and community leaders reviewed and selected the award winners. The philanthropic community is strong yet varied, and each individual voice is equally important on this day of recognition and reflection. With this in mind, AFP is offering additional opportunities for recognizing special individuals and organizations through sponsorship.
