  2. Evaluation Report.
This document, required by HEFCE at the end of March, has been drafted and commented upon by the Management Committee. A final version is now being polished. Thanks to everyone who has supplied information. If Moira or David asks for more in the next few days, please try and cooperate during this last stage. On the draft, the PVC(T) said:
It is very impressive indeed. Indeed, it is hard to believe that you and colleagues could have achieved so much for Loughborough and Coventry, and for the broader academic community. Hefce should be delighted with the results of its investments.
    So thank you all.
In addition to the formal HEFCE report, a glossy final celebratory brochure is being prepared for release in the summer. Again – contributions warmly welcomed – talk to Moira.
  3. External continuation of sigma: the HE STEM Programme & sigma’s call to establish (or enhance) four centres at other universities in England and Wales.sigma to receive 300k over three years to develop this external activity.

  5. Final away day: some have suggested it would be great to have one final away day with Coventry and other staff associated with sigma. If there is enthusiasm for this we will organise one. What do people think ? Would they come ? In part it would look at the sigma legacy, and opportunities to contribute to ongoing external and internal agendas
  6. CETL MSOR Conference – Birmingham 6/7 September. Please consider a contribution. Call for papers out soon – look out for it!
