- Laboratories – Laboratories are a mandatory part of this class. Laboratory reports or worksheets will be required for all labs. If you are absent during a lab, you must make arrangements to come in after school to make it up. The lab report will be due on the next school day after the lab.
- Homework – Laboratories, worksheets and problems are due on the day indicated and will not be accepted late. If you are absent, it is your responsibility to obtain any assignments that may have been assigned while you were gone. You have one school day per day absent to complete the missing work.
- Notebook – You must have a notebook and a pen/pencil, which you will bring to class every day. A three ring binder or a spiral notebook is acceptable. It is your responsibility to get the notes from a classmate if you are absent.
- Class participation – Each student is awarded points every day for class participation. These points may be lost by disruptive behavior. Be in class and be on your best behavior so that we all can learn. Tardiness is a disruption of class and consequences will follow the KHS handbook.
- Second Chance and Extra Help – Second Chance allows you to make up assignments and retake quizzes or test. There is an opportunity for you to meet with me every day after school for extra help.
