The I/O Unit has 8 digital inputs and 4 relay outputs. Signals from 3rd systems may be recorded and processed in the CMC III. The CMC III can execute control commands via the relay outputs or send messages to third party systems.
Power supply is via the connection of CAN-Bus to Processing Unit.
The alarm text may be set via the CMC III Processing Unit software, but saved in the unit.

CMC III Power Unit

enclosure in RAL 7035. The unit has two RJ45 connections with an integral CAN-Bus. The unit is automatically recognised by the CMC III System, the Processing Unit, and numbered consecutively in the bus order. Integral multicolour LED for indicating the status. The Power Unit has an input with a C14 IEC 320 connection. The input is fused at 10 A and may be fed with 100-230 V AC. The power input is switched via two relays to two C13 IEC 320 connections. Via the Power Unit the CMC III is able to supply fans or other equipment with power, to switch them on / off or to control them via a CMC III system-connected temperature sensor.
In addition the Power Unit measures the following electrical parameters:
- 1x voltage [V] at the input
- 1x frequency [Hz] at the input
- 2x current [A] at the outputs
- 2x phase angle [°] at the outputs
- 2x active power [W] at the outputs
- 2x work [kWh] at the outputs
