Recommended System Requirements

Pearson SuccessNet makes your online learning experience as simple as possibleto implement. Pearson SuccessNet operates using a variety of configurations and the requirements listed in the following table will provide an acceptable user experience. While other combinations of settings and software versions may also function, the following is our recommendation for optimal use.

Internet Bandwidth / At School:10 megabits of Internet throughput or a full T-1 with a web content caching device with 100 gigabytes of available cache storage
At Home:Broadband via cable modem, DSL or other high-speed Internet connection.
Check your web cache settings. When properly configured, web caching may result in improved performance.
Additional Requirements / Adobe® Acrobat Reader® 10, Adobe Flash® Player 10.2, Adobe Shockwave® Player 8.5, and QuickTime® 7 for all accounts. Microsoft Excel® or other spreadsheet software for teacher and administrator accounts.
Allow outgoing HTTPS/SSL communication to pearsonsuccessnet.com through port 443.

*One-finger and two-finger swipe gestures are not supported

* Note: Most Android tablets come pre-loaded with a single app store. The most popular is Google Play but there are others including Amazon Appstore for Android, GetJar, AppBrain, and SlideME. Each store is different and, in addition to having its own UI and connections to its servers, each app store offers customers and app sellers its ownsales/purchase rules and incentives.
The Pearson eText apps for Android are availableonly from Google Play. If you are supporting or selling to a customer that is using an Android device which does not use Google Play, it may be because the device does not comply with Google's compatibility requirements or the device manufacturer does not support Google's licensing agreement. The Pearson eTextfor Android apps only run on Android devices that meet these requirements. There are no immediate plans to support alternative app stores.

EXAMVIEW SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

To use the ExamView Assessment Suite Version 8.1, your computer must meet the following

requirements:

-Intel Pentium IV Processor 1GHz or higher (or equivalent)

-512 MB RAM

-500 MB hard disk space

-Monitor capable of displaying 1024 x 768 or higher resolution

-One available USB Port

-Internet connection to access the Web publishing and content update features.

Macintosh

-Mac OS 10.6 or higher

-Intel Processor 1GHz or higher

-32-bit and 64-bit Kernel and Extensions

-512 MB RAM

-300 MB hard disk space

-Monitor capable of displaying 1024 x 768 or higher resolution

-One available USB Port

-Internet connection to access the Web publishing and content update features
