Beijing-Xian-Shanghai 9 Days
Day 01 XXX Beijing / Hotel:Ritan International Hotel or similar ★★★★☆
Welcome to China! Once you retrieve your luggage and go through the customs at Beijing Capital Airport, you will easily spot our guide warmly greeting you, holding a banner with your name on. A comfortable transfer will take you to the reserved hotel. After checking in, we suggest you have a good rest for the remainder of the day.
Day 02 Beijing (B+L) / Hotel:Ritan International Hotel or similar ★★★★☆
Your first stop will be to the grandest public plazas in the world – Tiananmen Square. You will then continue on to the Forbidden City, one of the greatest palaces in the world. Afterwards you will enjoy a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. Afterwards, you will visit Beijing Zoo and the adorable giant panda.
Optional Program:
Then you may choose to join the optional tour of Hutong Rickshaw, and visit Siheyuan Folk House. In the evening, you may choose to take Hot Pot as your optional dinner, or you may arrange the dinner on your own.
Day 03 Beijing (B+L) / Hotel:Ritan International Hotel or similar ★★★★☆
After enjoying your breakfast, you will head north of the city 70km to conquer the Great Wall of Juyong Pass and to behold the beautiful rugged mountain landscapes that surround this impressive structure. You will then continue on to the largest Jade Carving Workshop in Beijing, Afterwards, You will then continue on to take photos with the exteriors of the 2008 Olympic Games sites including the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Afterwards you will experience an Orient Foot Massage and learn about traditional Chinese medicine. And visit the famous Silk Street Market to have a shopping.
The dinner will be arranged on your own.

In the evening, you may choose to join the optional evening performance – the Kung Fu Legend.
Day 04 Beijing (B+L) / Hotel:Ritan International Hotel or similar ★★★★☆
After enjoying your breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors used to worship to the universe, and prayed for the harvest. Then, we will learn about silk in silk factory. And enjoy the shining of the pearls in pearl shop.
Optional Programs:
You may choose to join the optional tour to Summer Palace, renowned for its beautiful gardens once enjoy by the Emperors and their families. Then you will enjoy the optional evening performance – the acrobatic show. And enjoy Peking Roast Duck for dinner as optional cuisine.
Day 05 Beijing Xian (B) / Hotel:Qujiang Yinzuo or similar ★★★★
Fly from Beijing to Xian. Meet your Xian guide upon arrival and drive to check in hotel.
Day 06 Xian (B+L) / Hotel:Qujiang Yinzuo or similar ★★★★
For a span of more than 1,000 years Xi'an served as the capital city for 13 dynasties. Its history endows Xi'an with a great number of precious relics and historical sites. The Terracotta Army is deemed the eighth wonder of the world. Discovered accidentally in 1974, this incredible army of over 7000 soldiers, archers, horses and chariots in full battle array has guarded Emperor Qin's tomb since 210BC. Each figure is unique, and the painstaking repair and excavation continues in 3 pits which are protected inside huge hangars. 1.5 hours from Xian, there is also an excellent museum and film about the history of the vaults. Photos (no flash) are allowed. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Also this morning you will visit a terracotta sculpture factory to learn about the crafts. Then proceed to Provincial Museum which shows Chinese archaeology’s excavation at Xi’an Areas from very beginning of Chinese primogenitors of Neolithic Age 20000- 8000 years ago to the glorious dynasties 980 AD.

Day 07 Xian Shanghai (B+L) / Hotel:Ramada Encore or similar ★★★★
Today in Xian you will visit Xian City Wall, the world’s most well-preserved city wall now. Its grandeur and excellent design impress every visitor there. You will take some leisure time at Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, where you will have a distant view of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. which is regarded the landmark of Xi’an. When dynasties expanded its territories enormously to the west with many Buddhism Scriptures, Monks and the envoys came to China, the temple was built and a large team of scholars was organized here for translation of the Buddhism Scriptures into Chinese and it became a holy place for pilgrimages.

Day 08 Shanghai (B+L) / Hotel:Ramada Encore or similar ★★★★
tart the day by visiting City God Temple bazaar, used to be central shrine for Taoist worship, but now more as tourist spot with kinds of yummy snack food as well as featured handcrafts. Also this morning you will visit French Concession, a residential area of Shanghai once designated for the French during much of the 20th century and also it was the centre of Catholicism in Shanghai.
Proceed to Shanghai Museum. It is the largest municipal museum in China, mainly displaying collections of Chinese ancient arts. Over 120,000 pieces of collections mainly focus on Chinese bronze, ceramics, paintings and calligraphy, and artifacts. This afternoon, you will be driven to visit Xin Tian Di. Literally means "New Heaven and Earth", it is Shanghai's trendiest lifestyle destination. Fashion boutiques, cafes, bars and clubs are opened here, attracting both stylish locals and sightseeing visitors.
A gem store is also on today’s visiting list.
This evening you may choose to attend optional program - US$35/p for ERA acrobatic show in Shanghai Circus World. Being the first of its kind in China, ERA uses modern technology to demonstrate breath-taking traditional Chinese acrobatic arts.
An optioal cruise could be arrranged also during your time in Shanghai.
Optional Huangpu River Cruise: US$30/p for cruise on Huangpu River. During the cruise you will take into the enchanting sight of the view of Pudong New District, a symbolic site of Shanghai's modernity.
Day 09 ShanghaiHome (B) / X
Free at your own leisure till the hotel check-out time (before 12:00 noon). Free transfer from hotel to Pudong airport will be available at 09:00am. Transfer request of other time will be US$35/person. Or you can organize it on your own.(Extension booking of the hotel room and extension tour to other China cities can be arranged at request with extra charge.)
Optional program: US$68/p for a half-day trip to Zhujiajiao water town(including a lunch of local flavor).
Zhujiajiao, a beautiful water town not far from Shanghai downtown. The township formed some 1700 years ago. And archeologists found here some relics could be dated back 5000 years ago. Rivers crisscross the town. 9 long streets and thousand of ancient buildings line along the rivers.
(Please be noted that the optional Zhujiajiao water twon trip would be operated on the condition that there are at least 4 people joining in it.)

1.Shopping Stops:
Beijing: tea + jade + foot massage +pearl + silk; Xian: terracotta sculpture; Shanghai: gem;
2. Service fee: US$90/person (payable upon booking): To tour guides and drivers in China, service fee is part of their incomes;
3. Single room supplement $338: The adult price is based on the assumption that two adult travelers will share a double room (with two single beds or one double bed as per request). Any traveler requiring a single room will need to pay supplement of $338.
4. Group Schedule: The group has agreed itinerary and schedule. Every member should follow the group during the 9 days. Any traveler who leaves the group before the tour ends, needs to pay $100/day. And the prepaid amount won't be refunded.
5. This is a group tour. The sequence of visiting would probably have to be changed to fit for all the group members’ flight schedules. The specified itinerary, designated hotels, and flight(or train or cruise) schedules are for your reference only. We reserve the right to make any changes due to flight/train schedules and some unforeseeable circumstances. We will give you notice of these changes as they occur.
6. Each order should be for 2 adults or more: If you are a single traveler, you may contact us and check whether it would be possible for you to join this tour. We will decide according to the booking status;

8. In China, hotels stipulate that check-in should be after 2PM and check-out before 12:00 noon time. Early check-in or late check-out will incur extra charge.
