A RESOLUTION adjourning the Senate in loving memory and honor of Ronald Ray Gargala Sr.
With deepest respect and admiration, we pay homage and tribute to Ronald Ray Gargala Sr., and we pause in silent reverence for his soul.
WHEREAS, Ronald Ray Gargala Sr. was born on October 9, 1958, a native of Paris, Texas, and resident of Simpsonville, Shelby County, Kentucky, and he traversed these earthly bounds on March 14, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Ronald Ray Gargala Sr. was the loving son of Steve J. Gargala of Cincinnati and Dorisene Thomas of Lawton, Oklahoma; he was the devoted husband of Loni Gargala; he was the loving father of a son, Ronald R. Gargala Jr. of Simpsonville, and two daughters, Jessica Michelle Gargala of Simpsonville and Randi Nicole Willard of Frankfort; and he also leaves behind six loving brothers, Scott Gargala, Steven Gargala, Tom Gargala, Wesley Dollins, Kenny Dollins, and Danny Dollins, and a loving sister, Carolyn Dollins; and
WHEREAS, Ronald Ray Gargala Sr. served his country with honor and distinction in the United States Marine Corps; and
WHEREAS, Ronald Ray Gargala Sr. was an active and involved citizen, and he was of the Baptist faith; at the time of his passing, he was serving his first term as constable for District Two in Shelby County, which covers the western side of the county and includes Simpsonville; he was treasurer for the Central Kentucky Constable Association, and he was vice president of the Simpsonville Lion's Club; and
WHEREAS, the passing of Ronald Ray Gargala Sr. has left a void that cannot be filled, and he is mourned across the length and breadth of the Commonwealth;
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it resolved by the Senate of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby express its profound sense of sorrow at the passing of Ronald Ray Gargala Sr., and extends to his family and many friends its most heartfelt sympathy.
Section 2. When the Senate adjourns this day, it does so in loving memory and honor of Ronald Ray Gargala Sr.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Senate is hereby directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Mrs. Loni Gargala, 1326 Oak Ridge Court, Simpsonville, Kentucky 40067.
