Indoor Activities
Flowers : Recognition of flowers will be done by showing colours, leaves, petals,
stem etc. We should not pluck flowers. We should water them so that
they remain fresh.

Helpers : Children will be introduced with the helper by showing them milkman,

carpenter, gardener, cobbler, driver, teacher, barber and by telling them

how do they help us in everyday life.

Outdoor Activities

Nehru Race :Children will be encouraged to participate in Nehru Race and hence

understanding the concept of ‘Children’s Day’.

Rangoli Making Activity : Children will be involved into making Rangoli for their classes on the

occasion of Diwali.

CELEBRATION

Children’s Day : Children’s Day is celebrated on 14th November every year to

mark the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru for his love

and passion for children.

Guru Nanak Jayanti: It is a festival of Sikhs which falls in the month of October/

November. On this day people visit Gurudwara and a

procession takes place in the morning which is more

commonly known as “Prabhat Pheri”.

Diwali: Diwali is one of the biggest festival of Hindus, celebrated with

great enthusiasm and happiness. On this day people light up

candles anddiyas all around.They perform Laxmi Puja and

burn crackers in the evening. People present Diwaligifts to

all near and dear ones.

EXCURSION :Visit to Gurdwara on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti.
