Coach Curbow’s 1st Semester emergency lesson plans

Schedule: 1st block: Team Sports in the gym 2nd – 4th block: ISS in room 235
Check my mailbox before school to see if any teachers have put ISS work for students in there. If they have you can drop by the ISS room on your way to the gym and give the work to Coach Barron.
1st block: Team Sports/Conditioning in the gym. Meet in the weight room to take roll. This has to be done in the first 5 minutes of class. Go to power teacher and login in with: D. Cur password is teacher The roll is separated into 4 part--(either General PE or team sports) Send roll in and then take all students down to get dressed in. Coach Fendley will be in the weight room and the workout will be on the board. IF Coach Hornsby is out of the classroom in the gym you can take all my students up after 30 minutes of weight training/Conditioning.
After 1stblock go to the ISS room. You will be in here for the remainder of the day. Check my email throughout the day and print off any assignments for the students. If for some reason the computer is off login with dcurbow password is football.
You will have a clipboard on the desk where you can see all the student’s information sheets. If they misbehave in ANY way make sure and record a “NO” on the sheet so I can give them some extra time. Do not let students go to the bathroom unless you take them as a group. The alternative school students will be on the computer doing their assignments. Make sure they are not playing games. They should be on Credit Recovery ONLY. The ISS students are not allowed to be on the computer UNLESS it’s for a specific assignment. If any new student enters ISS during the day have them fill out an ISS packet on the corner of the desk and also copy all rules. They have a 5 page report for each day they are in ISS.
11: 20- Lunch time. At 11: 48 you should be headed back to the room. Make sure students are sitting facing the student parking lot. Make sure they are not talking and communicating with each other during lunch. I usually let them go to the restroom during lunch or either on the way back from lunch.
You can let them have another bathroom break during the afternoon hours.
Keep the radio on and call Mr. Edwards if you have a problem.
The alternative students have to stay after school until 3:15.
