FIAT COMMERCIALS GO DRIVEAWAY

Fiat is making easier for businesses across Australia that rely on commercial vehicles to cut costs by making the entire Fiat commercial vehicle range available at driveaway pricing– an Australian first – for a limited time, with savings from up to $3700 on the Scudo, rising up to $4700 on the largest Fiat Ducato, with the added bonus of a free alloy tray valued at up to $3000 on the Ducato cab chassis.

“There is no doubt that businesses across Australia are doing it tough and they need to look at every dollar they spend to save money,” says Andrei Zaitzev, General Manager for Fiat in Australia. “With the Fiat Scudo and Ducato ranges, renowned for their excellent economy and low running costs, owners are already saving money, but with the new driveaway pricing we have made it even easier for more people to start benefitting from those low running costs.”

Powered by an advanced 2.0 litre 88 kW Turbo diesel engine, the Fiat Scudo boasts a 1.2 tonne payload and a 6.0 cubic metre loadspace. The Ducato range has a choice of 2.3 litre 88kW or 3.0 litre 115.5 kW Turbo Diesel engine, with load volumes ranging from 8.0 to 15 cubic metres. The 3.0 litre versions of the Ducato are available with the new MTA self shifting gearbox which combines the economy and performance of a manual gearbox with the convenience of an automatic.

The new Fiat commercial vehicle pricing covers all models in the range:

Fiat Scudo $36,990.00

Fiat Ducato Medium Wheelbase Van $39,990.00

Fiat Ducato Long Wheelbase Van $44,990.00

Fiat Ducato Long Wheelbase Van MTA$51,990.00

Fiat Ducato Extra Long Wheelbase Van $52,990.00

Fiat Ducato Extra Long Wheelbase VanMTA$55,990.00

Fiat Ducato Cab Chassis incl. Free Alloy Tray (Max $3000.00)$41,990.00

Fiat sales climbed by 26.1 per cent in Australia according to official VFACTS figures for 2008, in marked contrast to the market as a whole, with the Fiat Ducato leading Fiat’s growth in Australia.

“Fiat enjoyed strong growth in Australia during 2008 and we are determined, despite tough market conditions, to maintain this growth,” says Andrei Zaitzev. “We are delighted that our customers will be able to benefit from this sharp new pricing as part of our determination to keep Fiat gaining new owners in Australia.”
