From the initial groups of 4 the top 2 players will advance to the “Championship Event” and bottom 2 will go into the “Challenger Event” This will be a knock out event due to time.
Entries
Entries can be e-mailed to or posted to Gervis Knox at 299 Ormeau Road, Belfast, BT73GG. All players will have played a minimum of 3 matches in the group and the event should be completed by 7/8 p.m. The tournament is ideal for players of all ages and abilities. At the conclusion of the event all players should be listed in an order reflecting their performance on the day. Prizes will be awarded to winners and runners-up in each of the categories.
Directions to venue
The venue is situated just off the Albertbridge Road and almost at the entrance to Castlereagh Street. When you are coming up the Albertbridge road you will take a 90 degree right at the traffic lights upto the Mount. When entering the mount you will go up a small hill and take the first left and follow this road down until you see our venue which is brick with a sign 113 The Mount on it. There is lots of street parking around but please make sure you don’t block entrances or park in disabled bays!!

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
1Matches will be played according to the current rules.
2Play will be ona group basis commencing at 9.00 am. The player finishing top of the group or second will continue to play in the Championship competition. The player finishing third and fourth will be in the Challenger competition. The seeding of players will be based on available World /Irish/Ulster Rankings.
3. The round 2 Championship & Challenger competitions will be based on straight knock-out. The referee retains the right to change the format if necessary on the day.
4.All matches shall be the best of five games. All competitors will be required to umpire group matches
5.All competitors must report to the control table on arrival and should not leave the hall without first obtaining permission from the Referee. Players absent when called upon to play are liable to be scratched.
6.The referee’s decision shall be final on a point of law or in any dispute as to the interpretation thereof. Note: on points of fact the umpire’s decision shall be final.
7It is a condition of entry that players agree to abide by the Code of Conduct of the ITTA. This and other regulations for the tournament are published on the website
8All players should be affiliated to the ITTA Ltd; players who are unaffiliated may affiliate on the day.
