3NTto play; either 19 hcps, balanced OR may be somewhat of a gamble

16+ hcps., strong long minor (called a “player”)

Follow-ups:

4C = slam interest (balanced 13-14) – what kind of hand do you have 19 hcps or a

“player”?

5C =Super-Gerber pure ace asking (6C would be for Ks)

Opener’s Next bid following 1D – 1H - 3N - 4C

4D = good suit, good hand (close to 19 hcp),since youhave slam interest, I want you to respondKCs for Ds

4H = player - go ahead and sign-off in 4N

4N= balanced 19
