The State of Maine, Department of Administrative & Financial Services, Bureau of General Services is seeking Requests for Qualifications (RFQ 18A 20160630) for the purpose of, the purchase and redevelopment of the 9.2± acre property known as the Old Maine DOT Fleet Complex, located at 109 Capitol Street, in Augusta Maine 04333. Teams consisting of Investors, Developers, Contractors & Design Firms, etc., will purchase the property, demolish the existing structures, plan, coordinate and construct a minimum of 89,000 sf facility that is economical and energy efficient with onsite parking. The new facility and supporting property will be leased back to the State of Maine for not more than a Modified gross rate of $19/sf for a term of 30 years.
The following (4) steps must be completed to be considered for this RFQ.
1.) Visit our website at http://maine.gov/bgs/leased/rfq/index.html and register to download the RFQ on or before 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 19th, 2016.
2.) Attend a mandatory walkthrough of the 109 Capitol Street Complex in Augusta on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016.
3.) Teams interested in providing qualifications in response to this RFQ are required to send a letter of interest and submit a $100.00 (non-refundable) fee to:
