Texas A&M University; Athletics is seeking pricing for a Therapy Laser with an extended warranty as per the following.

4. / Installation
All installations shall be performed by a single vendor.
The requested equipment is to be supplied as a complete operational system, set-up and ready for use. Any/all operational/maintenance manuals are to be provided at the time of shipping/installation.
This project shall be considered a “turnkey” project that includes all aspects of the installation.
Insurance Requirement
The successful bidder will be required to provide proof of insurance in the amounts indicated on Attachment A.
Vendor will be held strictly liable for any damages to Texas A&M University property occurring during installation.
Insurance coverage shall provide for a thirty (30) day notice of cancellation or damage to the property of others material change to the policy coverage and/or limits and the certificate of insurance in force must include a notice that the policy or policies do contain these provisions.
Acceptance of insurance certificates by Texas A&M University shall not relieve or decrease the liability of the vendor. Unless otherwise specified, the vendor shall provide and maintain, until the work included in this contract is completed and accepted by Texas A&M University.
Bidders shall submit a sample certificate of insurance with bid response. Upon award, the successful vendor will be required to provide an updated certificate with Texas A&M University listed as an additional insured party. / 1 / LOT
5. / Training
Training shall include at least a one (1) day on-site demonstration of the proper operating techniques of equipment ordered to at least two (2) individuals designated by the end user. This demonstration is to include basic training on the proper operation of the equipment installed. / 1 / LOT
Note To Bidders:
If bidding other than specified, bidders shall indicate the brand/manufacturer of product offered and provide detailed specifications of product offered. Failure to do so may result in the disqualification of your response.
Pricing:
Bidders must indicate any additional charges not listed here-in.
References:
Bidders shall provide at least three (3) references where services comparable in size and scope have been performed within the last two (2) years. Bidders shall provide the Company name, Contact Person, Company Address, phone and fax number and email for each reference.
Texas A&M University reserves the right to contact these references to verify bidder’s ability to perform these services. A negative reference may be grounds for disqualification of your bid.
Award
The award shall be made based on the following “Best Value Criteria”. Texas A&M reserves the right to consider the following and any other factor deemed necessary to evaluate the offer and determine the “Best Value” for the University.
-Vendor’s ability to meet the minimum specifications;
-Delivery requirement;
-Experience/past experience with vendor;
-The quality, availability and adaptability of equipment offered to required application.
-Quality of performance of previous services;
-Insurance;
-References;
-Warranty terms;
-The acquisition price.
Texas A&M University reserves the right to make the decision as to what system best meets the minimum specifications and which system best suits the needs of the University. Texas A&M's decision is final.
Texas A&M University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, to accept the offer considered the most advantageous to the University.
