My Fellow Alumni & Friends,
Can you believe that two decades have passed since we began having our Annual Augusta High School Alumni Association’s Annual Banquet and Meeting? Time flies when you’re having fun… And speaking of having fun- why don’t you join us for our 20th Annual Banquet and Meeting on Saturday, September 5, 2015? We will again meet this year in our Alma Mater’s air-conditioned gym, beginning at 5:00pm.
I’m happy to announce that we have been able to continue the tradition of giving out $1,000 scholarships to two of our graduating seniors, as well as providing for various projects and needs here at AHS. Your continued support is very important to our association and will help us continue our good works here.
This year’s honorees will include all of those in classes whose graduation year ends with a “5”. We wish to encourage any class planning a reunion to consider holding it on September 5th at our event. We’ll be happy to provide a special table for your class as well as special recognition. We’re also happy to provide the same for any Alumni families who would like to join us at our banquet.
We want to make sure everyone receives our mailings, so if you know of anyone who is not receiving this, please contact Mrs. Susan Wehmeyer; her contact information is on the bottom of the following page.
Parking is available in the lot between Second Street and the school. For those needing a handicap entrance, the ramp is on the Bracken Street side of the School. Once inside, an elevator is available in the lobby and will provide the access to the gym.
We sincerely hope you can join us for this fun, exciting evening. We strongly encourage you to mail your reservations and payment to us by August 20, 2015. Due to the overwhelming response to this event, payment at the door is discouraged, as we only have limited extra seating. I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at our Annual Banquet and Business Meeting.

- Lots of activities in town for Heritage Days, so come early, stay late and have a great time!
- Membership in the Association is open to both alumni and non-alumni (friends)
- Handicap access to the dinner and meeting can be made by a ramp at the side of the school facing Bracken Street, with elevator access to the gym.
