Annual Meeting Part 2 – Immediately following worship this morning there will be a called business meeting of the church to receive our 2016 Book of Reports and the final 2016 Treasurer’s Report.

Soup ‘r Chili Cookoff - Our annual Lew Burdette Soup ‘r Chili Cookoff will be after worship on Sunday, February 5. The entry fee for your soup or chili is $5. Gift baskets or baked goods are needed for the silent auction. Our Hospitality Team will provide dessert and beverages. Please contact Lisa Butler or Carolyn Holliday, if you will enter soup/chili or provide a gift basket. A sign-up list is available at the back of the sanctuary.

EACA Valentine Dinner ~ The annual Valentine Dinner is scheduled for Saturday evening, February 11th at 6 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Please attend and support staff and children sponsoring a fund raising “Love” event. The dinner will be Italian, and the children will present a few musical selections. There will be a silent auction and a game with lots of fun for everybody. Join us – support the children. Please sign up in the back of sanctuary to help with needed items.

The children at the Academy are organizing a toy drive for the Blessed Hope Orphanage in Uganda, Africa, a school-to-school mission project, and invite everybody to help them. Stay tuned. More information will be forthcoming.

Name & Address Updates – We are updating our name, address, phone number, birthday directory. Please provide updates in the address folder located on the table at the back of the sanctuary. Also, if we do not have your name and address, we would like very much to add you to our directory.

Center for Hope Construction – AMA has employed a carpenter to work from 8am to 5pm each Saturday in February and March. Anyone who is willing to help is welcome to come by the Center and work with the carpenter toward completing the first floor.
