The Employees Retraining Board (ERB)has launched a brand new website in September 2015, providing round-the-clockcourse and service information of the ERB for trainees, employers and the general public.Trainees can register an account free-of-charge and make use of the course search, job search and job application functions. The website also offers job posting function for registered employers torecruit ERB trainees. Members of the public can browse up-to-date information of ERB’s courses, services and activities.

1Account Registration

To register an account with a few simple steps, and you can login as “ERB Trainee”to use the training and employment services online.

(1.1)To click “Login / Register” in ERB website ( and select “Register” and then “ERB Trainee”. To provide personal information as required for data checking and verification.

(1.2)An “Account Activation Email” will be sent to your email account after registration. To complete the registration procedures and activate the account by clicking the path.

(1.3)To login the account by using the registered email address and password after activation.

2Course Search

To search and browse up-to-date information of training courses by differentcriteria.

(2.1)To search “New Course” and “Coming Class” by using the “Quick Search” function, or to search training courses by keyword or different searching criteria such as “Industry Category”, “Location of Training Centre”, “Qualification Requirement”, “Course Mode”, etc.

(2.2)To click the “Details” button to view comprehensive course information.

(2.3)To view “Related Job Vacancy” at the bottom of “Course Details” page.

3Job Search

To search job vacancies by different criteria, and to submit job applicationonline.

(3.1)To search “New Jobs”, “Part-time Jobs” and “Urgent Jobs” by using the “Quick Search” function, or to searchjobvacancies by keyword or different searching criteria such as “Industry”, “Position”, “Working Location”, “Basic Salary”, “Job Upload Date”, etc. Meanwhile, jobs that welcome the applications of “Older Adults”, “Persons with disabilities and persons recovered from work injuries”, “New Arrivals” and “Ethnic Minorities” can be searched.

(3.2)To click the“Details” button to view comprehensive vacancy information.

(3.3)To use the “Quick Apply”function for submittingjob application online, or to apply the job by other channels. To view “Related Course” at the bottom of the “Job Details” page.

4Other Functions

To make use of various functions related to training and employment, and to set up personalised page.

(4.1)To create “CV” in “My Account” section, and to submit “CV” to the employer using "Quick Apply" function.

(4.2)To click “I agree that employers can search and view my basic information, and send me the invitation of applying job vacancy” in the “CV” section, so as to increase the chance of job matching.

(4.3)To receive updates about training courses and job vacancies by activating the email alert function in “My Account” section.

(4.4)To view the status of “Course Alert”, “Job Alert” and “CV”, and to activate the functions or update the settings at “Personal Setting” in “My Account” section.

(4.5)To manage information of training courses and job vacancies by using the personalized interface of “My Courses” and “My jobs”.

The ERB is an independent statutory body established in 1992 under the Employees Retraining Ordinance. The ERB co-ordinates, funds and monitors training courses and services. The service targets of the ERB are people aged 15 or above with an education attainment at sub-degree or below. The ERB has appointed about 100 training bodies to provide around 700 training courses that are market driven and employment-oriented. The ERB helps trainees map out progression ladders and nurtures more talents for various industries.
