Macedon

Using an interdisciplinary approach, the dissertation applies principles of

veterinary medicine, hippology, and applied horsemanship to evaluate the

effectiveness of the Macedonian cavalry in accord with Xenophon’s equestrian

works and the Greek and Latin sources for Alexander the Great.
