The following is additional information regarding Invitation to Bid SPU #2774, titled Supply of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid released on 9/23/10. The due date and time for responses remains as 10/13/10@ 2:00PM (Pacific). This addendum includes both questions from prospective bidders and the City’s answers, and revisions to the ITB. This addendum is hereby made part of the ITB and therefore, the information contained herein shall be taken into consideration when preparing and submitting a bid.

3 / 9/30/10 / 9/30/10 / What is the conversion factor (weight per gallon) / Take the total weight in lbs and divide by 8.34lbs per gallon and divide again by the specific gravity of 1.224. That will give you the gallons of fluoride.
4 / 9/30/10 / 9/30/10 / How much product do you typically receive at one time? / We normally do not take in anymore than 4500 gallons at a time. We can’t completely drain the tanks because of the configuration and location of outlet piping.
