Terms & Conditions Policy

1: Introduction:

Yourway Support Servicesorganises a CookClub at 44 Belair Road Peverell Plymouth. Cook Club currently takes place weekly -Tuesdays & Fridays in the form of a half and full day sessions

3: Terms and Conditions, including prices and tariffs

  • Half day sessions commence at 10am and finish at 1pm. The cost of a half day session is£22.
  • A full day session commences at 10am and finishes at 4pm. The cost of a full day session will is £40.

All food ingredients and equipment, aprons etc. areincluded in the session cost. Cook Club sessions are available to individuals with a learning disability, autism and mental health concerns.

The maximum number of people attending any Cook Club session is limited to five people.

Prices on website/flyers are valid at the time of publication. Yourway Support Services reserves the right to increase or reduce any of these prices any time after publication. Any changes will be made clear at the time of booking.

Booking a Cook Club Session

  1. To book aCook Club session complete the Cook Club Booking / Referral Form and return it to Yourway Support Services.
  1. When we have received your completed booking referral form, we will confirm your Cook Club session isprovisionallybooked.
  1. Payment for the session must be made within seven days of submitting your completed booking form.If we have not received your payment by this time we will re -advertise the session
  1. Once we have received your payment we will confirm your Cook Club session is officially booked

Payment

Payment of the full amount of session fee is due at the time of booking. Payment can be Cash, Cheque, or Credit/ Debit card / Plymouth City Council Pre Payment Card.

The person making the booking accepts responsibility for payment forthe individual on the referral form and is responsible for ensuring that they have read and understand these Terms and Conditions

Changing your booking

If you wish to change the date of your Cook Club Session Yourway Support Services will make every effort to arrange any change requested after the booking has been confirmed.

Any changes are subject to availability of Cook Club session dates, places, and / or staff availability.

If any change requested is less than 72 hours prior to the Cook Club session you will be responsible for paying the full balance on the original booking.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be sent in writing / email wherever possible and will be effective on the date which they are received by Yourway Support Services. Cancellation charges are payable as follows:

  • Over 72hours before the Cook Club session date: 15% of total cost payable
  • Less than 72 hours before the Cook Club session date: 100% of total cost payable

Participation

Preparing and cooking food carries with it a degree of risk both to people and property, even if enjoyed under proper supervision.

All session participants must make us aware of any medical conditions and / or illnesses they may have and any prescribed medication they aretaking on the booking form at the time of booking. It is down to the participant with a medical condition to check with his or her Doctor to find out if the Cook Club session is within their physical and/or intellectual parameters.

Session participants will have the use of Yourway'scooking equipment during Cook ClubYourway Support Servicestakes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and good condition of their equipment. Participants are responsible for immediately reporting any damage caused to equipment or which becomes apparent whilst it is in their possession.

Yourway Support Services assumes no liability in respect of any personal injury, loss, damage, consequential loss or third party claims which occur through no fault of itsown or its employees. All other liability or conditions implied by law are excluded to the fullest extent possible.

Standards

All Cook Club participants must in no circumstances be under the influence of any alcohol, drugs or medication at the time of the session which may adversely affect their physical abilities. All session participants must agree to abide to all instructions and decisions that Yourway Support Services staff make in order to secure the safety and comfort of all Cook Club participants

Any participant who does not conduct themselves in accordance with the highest standards during the session will be asked by staffto leave. In such cases there will be no reimbursementof fees. This will also apply if a participant demonstrates unreasonable orimproper conduct to anyone attending Cook Club

Property

All property which you bring to Belair Road is brought entirely at your own risk and Yourway Support Services cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of any participant, nor do they accept any liability to any participant except such as is imposed by statute.

Health and Safety

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside or outside the building at Belair Road. Please wear appropriate clothing, and practical shoes (e.g. low heeled) in the kitchen

Cancellation of Cook Club session

In the rare event Yourway Support Services , due to unforeseen circumstances , cancels Cook Club, Yourway have a 3 options policy:

  1. Your session will be re-arranged for an alternative date / time.
  2. A credit voucher will be issued. Credit for any session owed can be used within one year from the dateof the cancelled lesson. Any session/s owed must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
  3. A full refund will be given if options 1& 2 are not feasible.
