Member of the Patent Depository Library committee that drafted a proposal for funding of Patent Depository Libraries, a portion of which has been included in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office appropriations since 1981.
Worked with Texas Library Association committee in researching and drafting a revision of the law governing the Texas State Depository System. (The 66th Texas Legislature passed this legislation.)
Researched and wrote “Special Report for University Librarian on Classification Systems for U.S. Government Documents” with a recommendation to establish a separate documents collection. (This recommendation was accepted and implemented in 1972.)
