3 marks / The Initial investigation and Initial consultation should be two separate documents. “Transcripts’ is not an appropriate file name for ‘Initial consultation’. This criterion is difficult to mark because the proper structure was not followed from the Forms.zip file. Client is identified on the page. The interview lacks inadequacies.

B Analysis
5 marks / Analysis form used. Adequate detail under each of the subheadings, but lack depth considering the nature of the DTP project. Security is missing. Specific performance criteria are limited. Good justification.

C Project schedule 3 marks / Project schedule form used with some reference to the client and nature of the product. Some generic statements that could apply to any product.

4 marks / Product design form used, but the file name has been changed. The subheadings have not been used in the order indicated. Excellent internal design and explanation of the use of the side of the school as the overall display space. No test plan is a major omission. Resources indicated, but not in the table. Techniques only generally indicated. No client signature provided.

8 marks / The complex techniques and other techniques have not been identified at the top of the criteria. No diagram from the overall structure of finished posters nor a photo from the implementation on the school wall. Suitable number of complex techniques, Justifies the use of the products, Sources are acknowledged, but the source of copyright free brushes not indicated.

F Product evaluation and future product development / Feedback from client 4 marks / The client has provided an evaluation and recommendations, but there is no client signature. The file is not appropriately named and should be two files, not one. The product is evaluated based on feedback from the client. and the specific performance criteria in criterion B. Appropriate recommendations are made for future development.

G Required elements 3 marks / The files have not been appropriately named as cited above.
The student appropriately provided each product files in the original format (Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop) and as .png file. However, due the file size these had to be removed from the exemplar.
