UN Watch is anon-governmental organization that monitors the performance of the United Nations according to the yardstick of its Charter, defends universal human rights, and advocatesfor victims of the world’s worst dictatorships.UN Watch stands at the forefront in the struggle against anti-Semitism and anti-Israeli prejudice at the UN.

About the Fellowship

We are currently accepting applications for the one-year Morris B. AbramFellowship at UN Watch, to begin in September 2017. The fellowship is designed to train recent college graduates.

Requirements

  • At least one university degree
  • Ability to write superb English-language articles of publishable quality on the issues covered by UN Watch
  • Strong understanding of international relations and the history of ideas
  • Qualities of initiative, intellectual curiosity and ability to work in a small, team-oriented environment operating under strict deadlines
  • Demonstrable commitment to the UN Watch mission

Responsibilities

UN Watch Fellowsdraftreports, speeches, op-eds, press releasesand correspondence; monitorand report on UN sessions; research and fact-check; perform website maintenance, social media management, video editing,and administrative functions.

Stipend

The Fellowship is located in Geneva, Switzerland, and offers a generous annual stipend and use of a studio apartment, worth approximatelyU.S. $47,000. UN Watch will also provide the Fellow with health insurance, and travel to and from Geneva.
