Superstar Student Raise Form
· This raise can be up to, but not exceed $.35 (if you give less than $.35 now the student is still eligible for the remainder any time in the future).
· Your student wage account was only funded enough to give a full $.35 increase for approximately 30% of your students
· This amount is in addition to the $.20 cent end of semester raise.
· The increase is only to be given to superstar employees and for other reasons that fall within the guidelines below:
o Lead student supervisor
o Advanced responsibilities that aren’t delegated to other students
o Junior or higher majoring in subject area and/or advanced knowledge/skills
· The Superstar raise is normally intended to recognize exceptional performance; however, it can also be given for higher level responsibilities or tasks that are unique to a specific job. Some examples might include hiring a German speaking copy-cataloger to catalog German materials, hiring a Junior or Senior majoring in Biology at the Science Reference Desk, hiring a student who also does some of your department’s web design or graphics, or a student lead that has more responsibilities than others in your department.
