CRICKET HONG KONG PARTNERS WITH SUNSET+VINE

-  Host broadcast services to be provided for the 2017 Hong Kong World Sixes and 2018 Hong Kong T20 Blitz

-  Output includes Live broadcast; long and short form highlights plus feature content across multiple platforms

-  Hong Kong Sixes will take place on 28th-29th October at Kowloon Cricket Club

-  Participating teams include Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the MCC All Stars

(London) Global TV sports producer and distributor, Sunset+Vine, which is part of the Tinopolis Group, has been appointed by Cricket Hong Kong to provide host broadcast services for the 2017 Hong Kong World Sixes and 2018 Hong Kong T20 Blitz. The announcement comes as part of Cricket Hong Kong’s plan to promote the sport in the region by delivering two world class cricket events each year.

Under the terms of the contract, Sunset+Vine will produce 22 live games across the duration of the two-day Hong Kong Sixes event plus additional content to complement the live action including features and interviews; profile pieces on the teams and players; regular highlights updates for social media platforms and extended highlights programmes of the Group Matches and Finals.

The partnership will enable Cricket Hong Kong to produce its highest quality broadcast production to date as it continues to build on the momentum from the T20 Blitz livestream last March, which attracted nearly 12 million views.

Sunset+Vine is the current production partner for all the International Cricket Council’s major events for the period 2016-2019, including the ICC World Cup and ICC World Twenty20 tournaments. Its team will be led by Huw Bevan who heads the SE Asia operation out of Singapore.
